VIDA® Device Manager
The Voice, Interoperability, Data, and Access (VIDA) Device Manager is a Windows®-based application that facilitates the loading of code updates and personalities to many devices throughout the VIDA network. It centralizes and provides a common interface for this function, which in the past was performed using separate applications with different user interfaces. VIDA® Telephone Interconnect
VIDA Telephone Interconnect (VTI) lets OpenSky® and P25IP radio users make and receive public switched telephone network (PSTN) calls, supports up to 30 concurrent telephone interconnect calls, and provides the convenience of a telephone system while retaining critical communication radio features. Inter-RF Subsystem Interface (ISSI) Gateway
The Inter-RF Subsystem Interface (ISSI) Gateway provides TIA-standardized network-level communication between Project 25 (P25) radio systems regardless of manufacturer, allows authorized radios to roam between P25 systems, and prevents ID overlaps by assigning temporary unit and group IDs to roaming users. L3Harris Encompass Gateway is a flexible, affordable solution for organizations migrating to P25 technologies. The application runs as a Virtual Machine (VM) on the L3Harris VIDA® Network, delivering critical interoperability between legacy systems and P25 mobiles, portables and base stations. It also supports standards-based and proprietary systems, giving users an expanded choice of vendors for equipment investments.In addition to basic group calls, Encompass Gateway will pass Caller ID, Emergency Calls and Console Pre-empt Calls between a L3Harris P25 system and a legacy radio system. The application’s Digital Fixed Station Interface (DFSI) protocol operates with VIDA to simultaneously interface with P25 trunked sites and DFSI-enabled base stations.
