L3Harris EnableProtect Key Fill Device (KFD), powered by Tait, is an easy-to-use, in-field radio encryption tool that increases productivity and reduces keying errors. The KFD works with the EnableProtect Key Management Facility (KMF) solution for updates in-field or remotely via Over The Air Rekeying (OTAR).
Streamlined in-field encryption
Users can quickly and accurately store, deploy, generate, modify and erase encryption keys. EnableProtect KFD supports Standard Key Fill to create AES and DES keys for manual or automatic distribution, and Fast Key Fill for fast, error-free deployment of a pre-configured KFD.The device easily connects to laptop and desktop computers via a USB cord and comes with cables for quick connectivity to L3Harris portables, mobiles and gateways. Managers can use EnableProtect (KMF) to load encryption keys onto devices and send them to field technicians for either hard-wired transfer or distribution via OTAR.Key Benefits
